McKie's Troops

On Saturday, August 22, the Jason McKie Foundation, Chicago Bears will salute to soldiers on the field at Soldier Field prior to kickoff. Corporal Benjamin Soloff was deployed with C Troop, 2nd 106th Cavalry to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from August 18, 2008- August 14, 2009. He has received the Army Commendation Medal and Combat Infantryman Badge. Specialist Joshua Soloff was also deployed with C Troop, 2nd 106th Cavalry to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from August 23, 2008- July 30, 2009. He has received the Army Achievement Medal and Combat Infantryman Badge.

Through “McKie’s Troops”, the Jason McKie Foundation of the Institute for Science and Health will honor one deserving member of the military on the field at Soldier Field prior to kickoff of each Bears’ home game. McKie donates four tickets for military to each home game.
