McKie's Troops

On Sunday, October 19, the Jason McKie Foundation, Chicago Bears and Boeing will salute SFC Alexander M. Sanchez, of the University Of Illinois at Chicago ROTC, on the field at Soldier Field prior to kickoff. SFC Sanchez has been awarded two Army Commendation Medals, Iraq Campaign Medals, Global War On Terrorism Medal, and a Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. He has served two tours in Iraq (November 21, 2003 to October 21, 2004 and June 4, 2006 to September 4, 2007) and was deployed with the 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment 3rd Brigade 2nd Infantry Division of Fort Lewis Washington.

Through "McKie's Troops", the Jason McKie Foundation of the Institute for Science and Health will honor one deserving member of the military on the field at Soldier Field prior to kickoff of each Bears' home game. McKie donates four tickets for military to each home game.
