McKie's Troops

On Thursday, August 21, the Jason McKie Foundation, Chicago Bears and Boeing will salute Staff Sergeant Carrick with the Chicago Recruiting Battalion on the field at Soldier Field prior to kickoff. Staff Sergeant Carrick has been awarded a Purple Heart and Army Commendation Medal. He served in Iraq from October 2005 to October 2006.

Through "McKie's Troops", the Jason McKie Foundation of the Institute for Science and Health will honor one deserving member of the military on the field at Soldier Field prior to kickoff of each Bears' home game. McKie donates four tickets for military to each home game.
