On Wednesday, May 14, Jason McKie hosted CELEBOWL at Brunswick Zone in Vernon Hills. The celebrity bowling event raised money for the Jason McKie Foundation which focuses on programs in the areas of education and wellness with an emphasis on making an impact in the lives of families of soldiers. The Foundation provides educational scholarships to military dependents affected by a loss or severely injured parent or spouse. Through the Foundation, Jason also looks to host various activities with military families to give back to those who give so much to our country.
CELEBOWL included bowling, food, music, drinks, a live and silent auction and a chance to mingle with celebrities from the entertainment and sporting industries. Tasting stations were provided by the following restaurants: Franks for the Memories, Philly G's, Big Ed's BBQ, and Wildfire.
Celebrities joining McKie for the great event included Bears' players Anthony Adams, Mark Anderson, Jerry Azumah, Joshua Beekman, Cedric Benson, Marty Booker, Desmond Clark, Rasheed Davis, Josh Gattis, Robbie Gould, Corey Graham, Rex Grossman, Tommie Harris, Mike Hass, Devin Hester, Israel Idonije, Danieal Manning, Ricky Manning, Jr., Brandon McCow, Terrance Metcalf, Fontel Mines, Anthony Oakley, Adewale Ogunleye, Glen Pakulak, Kelvin Payne, Leonard Peters, Adrian Peterson, Lousaka Polite, PJ Pope, Brandon Rideau, JD Runnels, John St. Clair, Matt Toeaina, Nathan Vasher, Rodriques Wilson, and Garrett Wolfe.
